WHAT IS ISO 17025?
This international standard sets forth requirements for the operation of laboratories, in accordance with which a quality management system is implemented and accredited by testing and calibration laboratories.
By implementing a quality management system in accordance with ISO 17025, a laboratory simultaneously demonstrates the following: the professional competence of its personnel, the accuracy of the results produced by the laboratory, and their legal recognition at both the national and international levels.
Confirmation of the laboratory's compliance with the declared quality system is achieved through its subsequent accreditation by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU).
